Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 27, 2026  ·  ocwindowinstallation.com

In short: we collect your name, contact details, and project information for one reason — to connect you with an independent professional who can do the work. We share it with that professional and with the vendors that run our website and CRM. We do not sell your information for money to unrelated third parties.

1. Who We Are and What This Policy Covers

OC Window Installation ("we," "us," or "our") operates ocwindowinstallation.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the Site, how we use it, and who we share it with.

The core of it, plainly stated: we are a lead referral service. We collect your contact and project information for one primary purpose — to connect you with an independent, licensed service professional who can perform window installation and replacement in Orange County, Riverside County, and Los Angeles County, California. We do not perform the work ourselves. See our Terms of Service for the full description of that relationship.

This policy applies to the Site and to information you give us by form, phone, or text. It does not apply to the separate privacy practices of any service professional we connect you with, or of any other website we link to.

2. Information We Collect

Information you give us

  • Your name, phone number, and email address;
  • Your city, ZIP code, or property address, and the service you are requesting;
  • Any project details, notes, photos, or messages you choose to include;
  • The content of calls, texts, and emails you exchange with us.

Information collected automatically

  • IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, and referring page;
  • Pages viewed, links and phone numbers clicked, time on page, and submission timestamps;
  • Cookies and similar technologies used for analytics and to detect spam or fraudulent submissions.

We do not intentionally collect Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, government ID numbers, health information, or other sensitive personal information — please do not send them to us.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To connect you with a service professional who can provide the window installation you requested — this is the main reason we collect your information;
  • To contact you by phone, text, or email about your request, including to confirm details or follow up;
  • To provide quotes, schedule appointments, and answer your questions;
  • To detect, prevent, and investigate spam, fraud, and abuse of our forms;
  • To operate, maintain, analyze, and improve the Site and our marketing;
  • To keep records and comply with legal obligations, including consent and Do Not Call records;
  • To establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

4. Who We Share Your Information With

Service professionals. When you submit a quote request or call us, your name, contact information, location, and project details will be provided to one or more independent window installation contractors so they can contact you about your project. That is the purpose of the request. Once your information is with a service professional, their own use of it is governed by their privacy practices, not ours — contact them directly about their handling of your data.

Service providers. We share information with vendors who help us run the Site and our operations, such as hosting providers, our customer relationship management (CRM) system, analytics providers, form and spam-prevention tools, and messaging or email delivery providers. They may use the information only to perform services for us.

Legal and safety. We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, enforce our Terms of Service, prevent fraud, or protect the safety of any person.

Business transfers. If our business or its assets are sold, merged, or reorganized, customer information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We do not sell your personal information for money to unrelated third parties, and we do not share it with unrelated companies for their own independent marketing. Sharing it with the service professional who will do your work — which happens at your request — is not a sale.

5. Calls, Texts, and Your Consent

By submitting a form on the Site or calling us, you consent to be contacted by us and by the service professional(s) we match you with at the phone number and email address you provide, including by automated dialing, prerecorded message, and SMS/MMS text. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply.

You can stop marketing contact at any time: reply STOP to any text message, tell the caller to place you on the internal Do Not Call list, or call us at (714) 400-7795. We keep records of opt-out requests so we can honor them. Calls may be recorded or monitored for quality and training where permitted by law. Opting out of marketing does not stop transactional messages about a project already in progress.

6. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising

  • Google Analytics — we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use the Site. Google may set cookies and receive your IP address and browsing activity. You can opt out with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
  • Functional cookies — used to remember form state and to help prevent duplicate or automated submissions.
  • Advertising — we may run search or social advertising, and advertising partners may use cookies or pixels to measure ad performance. If those technologies are used to serve you ads based on your activity across other websites, California law may treat that as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising, and you may opt out as described in the California Rights section below.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings; some parts of the Site may not work correctly if you do. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals as an opt-out request where required by law.

7. How Long We Keep Your Information

We keep quote requests and related communications for up to two years from your last interaction with us, unless a longer period is needed to comply with law, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements. Consent and opt-out records are kept as long as required by telemarketing rules. You can ask us to delete your information sooner — see below.

8. Security

The Site is served over HTTPS, and we use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we hold. No website, transmission method, or storage system is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Once your information has been provided to a service professional, we do not control their security practices.

9. Your California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA, gives you the right to:

  • Know what personal information we collect, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of parties we disclose it to;
  • Access a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
  • Correct inaccurate personal information;
  • Delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions;
  • Opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising;
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information (we do not collect it for such uses);
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

In the past 12 months we have collected the categories of information listed above (identifiers, internet activity, and geolocation limited to the city or ZIP code you provide) and disclosed identifiers and your project details to service professionals and to our service providers, for the business purposes described in this policy.

To make a request, call (714) 400-7795 or use the contact form on the Site. We will verify your request by asking you to confirm information we already have on file, and we will respond within 45 days. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with written permission that we can verify. Note that requests to delete apply to our records; if a service professional already has your information, you will need to contact them separately.

10. Children's Privacy

The Site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a minor has given us information, call us at (714) 400-7795 and we will delete it.

11. Third-Party Websites

The Site may link to third-party websites, including those of service professionals, manufacturers, and review platforms. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Review their policies before providing information to them.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Effective date" at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision, and changes take effect when posted. Material changes will be noted on this page.
